This is the little train which carries the sight-seers from exhibition to
exhibition.
A piece of pseudo-house from "Marienhof".
Another piece of card-board-cologne in the middle of munich from "Marienhof".
Panic on the starship! The red light went on!
No panic after all, the red light just signified that the coffee was ready.
A prop from "Wilde Kerle 5".
The bridge from "Das Boot". Instead of the serene munich trees you
have to imagine a stormy atlantic.
The inside of the submarine from "Das Boot" is without doubt the
best exhibition on the sets. It's almost the full length of the original
submarine and being in there feels very authentic.
The engine room. The engines to the left and right are actually moving.
A bunk where the seaman had to sleep back then.
The torpedo room.
Now on to "The Neverending Story". This is the snail whose name
I forgot.
The dragon "Fuchur" in front of a blue screen for the flight scenes.
The turtle from "The Neverending Story", whose name I also forgot.
The riddling sphinxes.
The entry to the gallic village from "Asterix". But back to that
later.
This is a set of a generic munich street. The set is built in a way which
allows fast redecorations in order to make it look like every epoch in the
last 100 years.
A little more generic munich. From the sign it's probably from the 1930s?
Now back to the gallic village.
Miraculix house.
Another gallic house.
The "Hinkelstein" quarry.
Also from "Asterix". The torture chamber! Here Miraculix was tickled.
Nice cage.
