A mock battle by the group "Claymore".
It only looks scottish, but probably stems from some more local celtic tradition. Not that I would
know anything about that :-).
It was quite hot and the mock battle continued for some time. That's why I
prefer archery: lighter armor and you can wait in the shade :-).
"Fine wines and diverse potions" it says on that stall. And yes, one
could buy a love potion here too :-). Applications for test subjects
welcome :-).
Some random view, mainly to show the fine weather we had.
I didn't eat "Steckerlfisch" (Fish grilled on a stick) today. But
before this festival is over I want some :-).
Crusader Knights. Unfortunately they don't wear full armor in this pictures,
as crusader knights armor is my favorite.
Many types of incense.
Those mock medival dresses are really something. I think I need a girlfriend
I can dress up in those :-).
More dresses. Especially the red and black affair on the left would look
quite good on my yet-to-find girlfriend :-).
But while dresses are nice for the women, here is really beautiful clothing :-).
Ah, I can't wait until metal armor becomes fashionable again :-). On the
upper left are crusader helmets. The left-most is the best. Well, certainly
my birthday comes up some day.... just kidding :-) !
They really had a great selection of helmets here. In the upper shelf there
can even be seen some hellenistic designs. So if you have seen 300 once too
many times, here is the store for you :-).
This tent had some rather authentic viking armor displayed. I never noticed before,
but after Ferdinand pointed it out to me: the helmet does look good.
The nice thing about the music (besides that the musicians were very good) was,
that it was always there and never invasive. So it added perfectly to the mood.
Something for the ladies head? A little too gaudy perhaps, but I have to see
it on a head to judge that :-).
Another beautiful dress.
What is that?! I am sure it has an important historical significance and as
such I must show it for historical science sake !
That group had historical acurate outfit from 1503.
Here is something for the victorian-medival-vampire-mix ladies?
Ladies, I hope you like medival dresses, because you will be wearing them
now and again ;-).
The munich barbarians. I kept a distance from those stocks, understandably ;-).
A selection of semi-precious stones and minerals for all kind of enchantments
and ailments.
